Sen. Braun: Trump Has Duty to Enforce Immigration Laws, But Gets Little Help From Congress

(CNSNews.com) -- Senator Mike Braun (R-Ind.) said President Donald Trump has a constitutional duty to enforce the immigration laws but that he gets very little help from Congress.

The senator added that because we have not made the “hard decisions of how to enforce the border,” we have countless illegal immigrants in the country.

At the Capitol on Tuesday, CNSNews.com asked Sen. Braun, “Article 2, Section 3 of the Constitution says the president ‘shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed.’ Does the president have a constitutional duty to enforce the immigration laws?”
