Trump says he has confidence in FBI Director Wray

President Trump said Tuesday he has faith in Christopher Wray, after repeatedly declining to voice confidence in the FBI director.

“Yes,” Trump said when asked by reporters at the White House whether he is confident in Wray’s job performance.


Just one day earlier, Trump would not say during an exclusive interview with The Hill if Wray has his backing.

“Well, we’ll see how it turns out,” the president said when asked about his level of confidence in Wray.

Trump’s refusal to give a public endorsement to Wray had sparked rumors the FBI director may be on the outs.

Time will tell. I hope Barr is looking at Wray closely. He seems like he'd do anything to protect the reputation (already shredded) of the FBI.

Another fine example of Trump's failure to select quality folks for critical positions.

If Trump had any real brass, he would eliminate the FBI, and merge its function into Homeland Security. 

Trump's efforts to manage spending is worse than Obama's.  For this alone, Obama will go down as a poor president.  Trump does not wise up soon, he will go down just as bad.  Historians take a dim view of presidents that failed fiscally.  The last three have been abysmal!
