Guns and spineless politicians

----Here’s another concept: Every firearm is a “military” firearm, whether it meets someone’s definition of “military” style, and every modern “military” firearm is a hunting firearm. Try to convince Cochise or Crazy Horse or Geronimo, or Chief Joseph that a Winchester model 1873 or 1886 wasn’t an effective firearm for use in battle and for hunting. Try to convince any number of modern hunters (not a Fudd) that the Remington model R-25 or an AR-15 is not a good rifle to use to hunt deer or feral hogs.

Not good modern examples, you might say? Tell homeowners and shopkeepers in Los Angeles at the time of the Rodney King riots that a neighborhood militia, or that their “military” rifles, were not effective at keeping the hordes of rioters and murderers at bay for five days after the city of Los Angeles pulled its police officers out of the Koreatown district, literally as the mobs moved toward them.

And in case you were wondering, here’s a definition of a Fudd: thegunwriter.com/24165/top-10-ways-to-spot-a-fudd.
