President Trump supporters line up 40 hours before Orlando rally

ORLANDO, Fla. - More than 40 hours before President Donald Trump will announce his re-election bid in Orlando, supporters started lining up outside the Amway Center.

Eight Trump supporters started camping out Monday morning, with the first one showing up at 2:30 a.m. The rally is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Gary Beck, a Trump supporter from Panama City, was the first in line.

"There's going to be a bunch of people, and it's going to be pretty intense," Beck said. "The electricity is going to be high. It's time for America to get back on its feet and be made better than it's ever been before."

Trump tweeted Monday that the rally "looks to be setting records," with more than 100,000 ticket requests. The Amway Center seats 20,000.

"We are building large movie screens outside to take care of everybody," Trump tweeted.

The visit marks Trump's first campaign event in Orlando since he ended his 2016 presidential campaign with a "Thank You Tour" stop at the Central Florida Fairgrounds.

Tuesday might be a good day for a trip to an Orlando theme park. Too bad we won’t be on vacation until next week.

I find it interesting that some poll said that he is behind in FL.  With this kind of turn out and the progress that governor DeSantis has made, I find that really hard to believe.

I am not exactly what you would call a Trump supporter, but I am glad that he still has the kind of support that he does.  FL is going to be one of the states needed to win re-election along with PA, WI, & MI.  Not going to be an easy task.

No, don't like his personality, don't like his FAILURE at the border, but he has some positives.  Above all else, IMHO we need to stop the bat crap crazy DEMS.

Considering that the DEMS have a chance to take control of the US Senate from Republicans, with 34 out of 100 seats up for grabs, it's a very scary thought Trump losing the oval office.

I don't see anyone on the GOP side stepping up to the plate and challenging him, so it's either him or Biden, Warren, Castro, Beto, Buttgig, Harris, etc.

Well, retired or not, we are into the rainy season here in FL with temperatures in the mid 90's.  I would conclude that they truly want to see him and not just looking for something to do.

You could also conclude there’s not much else to do in the rainy season. Might as well go to the circus.

Compare and contrast with Slow Joe's 85 bored attendees. I heard on Wilkow that some Trump supporters spent two nights in line, stayed through the rain. This level of enthusiasm is good to see. It would be nice if more people became Trump Realists instead of NTs.
