Baby boy ripped from mother's womb dies in hospital two months after mother's murder

The young mother was lured to the perp's house by a promise of free baby items. Baby had been on lie support since April 30. The perp, Clarise Figueroa, and her daughter are being held on murder charges. Mom's boyfriend has been charged with helping to hide the crime.

Mother and daughter should be strung up, but I suspect the murder charges won't be first degree.  Does Illinois even have the death penalty?

I feel so sad for the baby's father.  He had such hope the child might survive.
