California poll: Warren surges to second, Harris falls to fourth
Politico, Jun 13, 2019

Elizabeth Warren is threatening Joe Biden’s front-runner standing in California, and Kamala Harris is showing signs of weakness in her delegate-rich home state, according to a new poll.

A new UC Berkeley-Los Angeles Times poll found Biden leading with 22% of likely Democratic primary voters; followed by Warren and Sanders, who are at 18% and 17%, respectively.

Harris (13%) and South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg (10%) are the only other 2020 presidential contenders to exceed 3% in the survey, which was directed by pollster Mark DiCamillo, who for years led the venerable Field Poll.

Warren’s surge into a tie with Sanders aligns with other recent polls that show her cutting into Sanders’ support with liberal voters. But it’s particularly notable in the Super Tuesday state of California, where Sanders has set up camp since his 2016 loss to Hillary Clinton, and where his team has pointed to structural advantages that in mere months have seemed to dissipate.

An April Quinnipiac University poll of the California primary had Biden at 26% among Democrats and Democratic-leaning voters, followed by Sanders at 18% and Harris at 17%. Warren and Buttigieg were at 7%.

Aside from Biden who stands out for his leadership in corruption, I can't see a dime's worth of difference between the rest of them.

Warren and Sanders are going in opposite directions
The Washington Post, Jun 13, 2019

The angry, old man socialist routine isn’t working out so well for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.). As I’ve been anticipating for several weeks, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) is catching up to him, at least in two polls. In the Economist/YouGov poll, since last week former vice president Joe Biden is down one point but leads nationally with 26 percent; Warren, however, gained five points in a week and Sanders lost four, leaving them at 16 percent and 12 percent, respectively. South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg comes in with 8 percent, and Sen. Kamala D. Harris (D-Calif.) with 6 percent. Everyone else is at 3 percent or less.

That 12 percent is one of worst results Sanders has gotten in any national poll; whether it is an outlier or not remains to be seen. (To make matters worse, Sanders has the highest unfavorable rating of any Democratic candidate: 47 percent have a somewhat or very unfavorable opinion of him.)

I concur with fellow Californians; Harris is boring.

The country is heading full on Euro-socialist.
And it ain't Trump's fault.

It is the fault of the Bush-McCain-Romney-Ryans and their types, George Will, Kasich, Bill Kristol.

A California poll isn't exactly indicative of who the rest of the country wants.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
