Democratic presidential candidate Kirsten Gillibrand making waves this morning after remarking, "imagine saying that's it's o.k. to appoint a judge who's racist or antisemitic, or homophobic-- asking someone to appoint someone who takes away basic human rights in anyone in America-- I don't think those are political issues anymore."
Gillibrand, of New York, added, "I do not believe there is a moral equivalency when it comes to laws that deny women reproductive freedom."
Gillibrand has promised to only appoint justices who would uphold Roe v. Wade.
