High temperatures in Houston will be in the low 90s after a cold front pushed through Southeast Texas on Sunday, June 9, 2019.

This is one of those weeks in Houston where it's hot, but Houstonians should be thankful it's not hotter.

A cold front (in name only) pushed its way through Texas on Sunday, bringing high temperatures into the low 90s for much of the Houston area. These more pleasant temperatures come after a heat advisory Sunday afternoon when heat indices across Southeast Texas were close to 110 degrees, according to the National Weather Services.

Walked the doggies in 66 degree weather with a light mist. Nice break from 100.

Don't you wish we could bottle the cool weather and rain...and let it out in August?

Some cold front, HA! I spent a good bit of yesterday helping my son put on a set of rock sliders on his Toyota Cruiser. The diamond tread top plates were the last to go on. When I picked the last one up off the yard the grass was completely cooked underneath.
