(Reuters) - Venezuela scored three goals without reply in a whirlwind first half to grab a convincing 3-0 win over the United States in a friendly in Cincinnati on Sunday.

It was the first time the South Americans had beaten their North American rivals in six meetings.

A few years ago the Australian national women's soccer team played an exhibition game against a bunch of 15 yr old males and got thrashed.
By the teen years there is about a ten percent physical gap between males and females that makes it almost impossible for women to compete with men in sports that involve strength, running, jumping, and endurance.
Some years ago the boy's basketball team at my old high school had a horrible year winning only a few games. A lot of that was due to the coach who tried to make the players do things they couldn't.
Meanwhile, the girl's team had a great year making it to the state tournament and almost winning the championship.
Some people at work suggest the girl's could beat the boy's team. I had to tell them that if they played a game, the score would be about 100  to  30  in favor of the boys. The boy's were faster, bigger, stronger, and better skilled.  But many people want to believe the sexes are about equal physically. They're not.
However, now with the "transgender" movement where a man can claim to be a woman, maybe things will change.
