Pelosi: Jobs report shows Trump 'hollowing out our economy'

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said the May Department of Labor report showing only 75,000 jobs were created “is a disturbing sign that the Administration’s disastrous special interest agenda is hollowing out our economy, fueling instability and jeopardizing the financial security of working families across America.”

Democrats have long denounced President Trump’s economic policies, in particular the tax cut law that slashed corporate rates to 21%.

Democrats want to roll back much of that law and use the money for various spending priorities.

“While the wealthy and well-connected enjoy massive windfalls from the GOP Tax Scam for the rich, countless hard-working Americans are one unexpected expense away from financial ruin,” Pelosi, D-Calif., said in the statement. “Families across the country need decisive action to strengthen their health and financial well-being, not more special interest giveaways and reckless threats from the President that threaten to sow chaos in our economy."

The unemployment rate remains at 3.6%, the lowest since 1969. But job creation fell far below the 180,000 new jobs expected last month, sparking concerns that slow economic growth or even a recession could develop.

If anyone is 'hollowing out' the economy it's Pelosi and the DEMS by not funding the wall and not stopping the invasion!  How many millions if not billions is going to be spent supporting these ILLEGALS????

This coming from the same genius who declared during the barry's term that unemployment checks were the best way to grow the economy? And some still deny she has brain damage or mental illness but continue to insist Trump does?



Mind you I'm not defending Trump, just pointing out, as I see it, a hypocrisy.
