CNN anchor Don Lemon claimed the network CNN and his show are not liberal while speaking at the Financial Times Future of News event in New York City on Thursday.

The remarks were highlighted on Twitter and reported by Mediaite.

Despite Lemon's claim, examples of CNN's and his own criticism against Republicans abound.

More and more "liberals" now like to call themselves "progressives." I like to call them "regressives."

I watch Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon every day.  They are middle left.  Cuomo is the most watched CNN news anchor.  Lemon is interesting.  He has a soft heart for others and is genuine in his beliefs, would not force those beliefs on others; he is not an attacking kind.  Trump cannot stand him, calls him names as he does everyone else.   I watch Fox News.  They are ultra right - Trump is King there.
