Sylvester Stallone first starred as John Rambo back in 1982's "First Blood," a remarkably insightful portrait of a Vietnam War veteran struggling with PTSD while fighting to protect himself against idiot small-town law enforcement.

Rambo returned in 1985 as an '80s action superhero in "Rambo: First Blood Part II," returning to Vietnam to free POWs and kick some ass. It's probably best to forget about 1988's "Rambo III" and 2008's "Rambo."
