Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) said Wednesday that he has told other House members to prepare for impeachment proceedings following remarks from the special counsel.

In an interview with MSNBC hours after a press conference hosted by Robert Mueller, Swalwell indicated that he believes impeachment proceedings are now inevitable.


"'Prepare for impeachment,' that's what I've told my colleagues," Swalwell told "Meet the Press Daily" host Chuck Todd. "Let's get the full Mueller report. An eighth of it has been redacted. Let's get the special counsel to testify publicly. Let's get [former White House counsel] Don McGahn to come in."

In addition, he's a blowhard...a rank partisan...and an idiot.  But then again, that doesn't really distinguish him from the other 434 people you describe.

I hope Swalwell's right, as it would virtually guarantee a Trump/GOP landslide in 2020.
