What's great (among other things) about Kenda's show are the times he details what it's like trying to be a homicide detective in a large city while still trying to live a normal life...if that is possible for those people.
To watch how a typical homicide detective goes about his work down to the grisly details of stuffing his nose with Vic's vaporub to try to staunch the smell of dead bodies is fascinating.
It takes a special kind of person to be able to withstand almost four hundred homicide investigations as Kenda did and not go wacky yourself.
