BREAKING: Mueller to Make Public Statement on Trump-Russia Investigation

Robert Mueller has announced that he will make a statement on the Russia investigation from the Department of Justice on Wednesday. This will be his first public comment since the release of the results from his probe.

Mueller’s announcement states that he will not take questions during this event, yet political observers have been clamoring for him to speak publicly ever since he released his conclusions on Russian election-meddling and President Donald Trump‘s possible obstruction of justice. Given the subject matter of his statement, it is possible that Mueller will use his announcement to say when he will testify before Congress, or else, he’ll talk about how the Trump Administration and Attorney General William Barr have reacted to his discoveries.

There has been a great deal of commotion about how Barr seems to have taken Mueller out of context and distorted his findings in order to say that Trump has been fully exonerated on both collusion and obstruction. Much of this has to do with how Mueller’s team objected to how Barr characterized the nature of his findings, even while the AG dismissed those concerns and ran defense for the president.

Mueller mentioned people in this country are 'innocent until proven guilty' but it sounds like he assumed Trump was guilty and was pissed he couldn't prove it. Otherwise he would say, "There was no collusion. There was no obstruction. Period."

My take: The "president" could not be charged, under DOJ policy, thus it wasn't considered. But the "president" could not be cleared. Congress controls, under the Constitution, the way to deal with this matter.
