I don't care who he was running against; it could have been Ol' Slewfoot himself. Some things shouldn't be sold so cheaply.

Facts.
When I was in my early 20's, I bucked convention and my family by stating that I could not support Bill Clinton because he was simply too lacking in shame, moral conviction and decency (not even getting to policy differences). This caused no small amount of consternation as a member of a union, democratic, black family.

At the time, I honestly never envisioned a possibility that enough enough conservatives would forgo the principles that attracted me to elect a man with the moral turpitude of Donald Trump. Never. Not the way they clutched their pearls, bared their teeth, and took such umbrage at Slick's shenanigans.

Don't hold your breath waiting for an even handed assessment. Like 'some things he does I approve of but most I do not' or 'I'll give him a C- although I like what he's done with judges' etc.

Some people just gotta tell us how much they utterly and completely despise the man, even if they have to do it two or three times each day. As if they think it reflects well on them personally, somehow. So friggen boring.
