Trump Derangement Syndrome claims another victim
By Thomas Lifson

A Utah judge has been suspended for six months without pay by that state’s supreme court for intemperate comments about Trump online and even from the bench. Utah judges are appointees based on “merit,” so there will be no electoral consequences, but such a drastic rebuke to a person in a position dependent on high regard from the public is potentially devastating. personally and professionally.

This incident seems to be an example of the human tragedies that result from the media-fed obsession with demonizing President Trump that has gripped so many Americans.

What is remarkable and tragic in this incident of TDS is that a judge – a person who entrusted with great powers on the premise of an ability to remain detached and impartial in official duties – has betrayed himself and his responsibilities. Judge Michael Kwan of Taylorsville, UT seems to have been driven by TDS to disregard these issues.

Trump is a filthy speaker attacking everyone with terrible language, but we are supposed to speak of him in lofty terms, praising the fact he has allowed himself to be taken from his life of grandeur to be our beloved leader.

This judge said what he believes, think First Amendment, and if others in congress and every judge said what they thought about our leader, they would all be attacked by the dangerous president in our oval office.

His supporters fell under his sales technique - say the same thing over and over about hot issues  and people will believe it and vote for you.  He won and that was the goal.

This is a case of "The Emperor Has No Clothes".  At some point, people will see he has no clothes, he was lying all the time and still is and always will.

...onwards, with the smear and demonization of Donald Trump. Pure mindless hatred, absent any rational basis in fact on full display above.

The democrats want to sincerely thank you for taking part in helping to poison the Internet with lies about a good man and great president, Donald Trump.

The judge was an idiot, and quite frankly should be permanently removed and given his walking papers.

I would characterize a man who goes rawdoggin' with a porn star and brings that fetid foulness home to his wife and infant son as "filthy." He is a person who repeatedly cheated on three wives even as an old man. Filthy.

He employs "terrible language" embodied by his baseness, his profanity, his pedestrian vernacular and his tortured syntax. He is an elderly man who degrades and debases the office with his quotidian inane twitter stupidity, throwing shade at people and entities like a prepubescent girl--so effeminate and tween-like bitchy. Girrrlll.

Even his most ardent supporters won't deny that he lies reflexively, heedlessly, and constantly.

If conservatives, evangelicals, and people with the moral clarity to know better, lower ourselves to the level of those  who excused and supported Bill Clinton's amoral vileness, then what manner of country are we trying to save, to leave behind after we shuffle off this mortal coil? Is it "deranged" to strive to conduct one's life according to standards and principles rooted in goodness and verity and not fall down in abject slavishness to a man who has lived a life in marked opposition to the very same?

I couldn't look my son, my nephews, or any of the young men I mentor in the eye and say that Trump is an acceptable standard for the type of man that I pray they become.

I don't care who he was running against; it could have been Ol' Slewfoot himself. Some things shouldn't be sold so cheaply.

I think there's something wrong with you, seriously wrong, if you're choosing any politician as a standard for the young men you're "mentoring".  I also notice you don't use yourself.

I wish I could welcome you to TBR .... but I'm weary of your type coming to spread hate.   **nononono*

I thought the three she was referring to "getting a room" was Trump, Stormy Daniels and Alana Evans, but then I remembered that Evans said "no." Apparently, she has higher standards than Stormy.

Your replying to me is welcome enough. I'm greatly humbled.

I'll try and "be best" about not spreading hate on the internet.

I can't promise to "use myself" however. I'm blessed to have a vivacious wife who satisfies me in that regard.
