Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi’s faux show of rage

If there’s anyone left in America who actually believes Democratic Party leaders are interested in constructive dialogue with President Trump on substantive policy issues like infrastructure, I have a Russian conspiracy theory to sell them.
When Trump cut short a meeting Wednesday with Democratic leaders on a potential infrastructure deal, liberals and their media allies had found their ginned-up outrage of the week. An allegedly irate House Speaker Nancy Pelosi claimed that she and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer had come to the White House in the “spirit of bipartisanship,†only to be rebuffed.
This, only hours after Pelosi had accused the president of engaging in a criminal “coverup.â€
According to media reports, Trump walked in without “sitting down or shaking hands,†and told those assembled that while he’s willing to work on infrastructure deals, trade agreements and farm bills, it’s going to be impossible if Pelosi keeps accusing him of criminality and supporting perpetual trolling expeditions in Congress.
