No, not innocent in business dealings. But not being innocent in business dealings doesn't necessarily mean he is guilty of what the idiot left is accusing him of.

Accounting methods that most of the DC critters probably use or have used. I daresay if you looked into every Congress person's accounting methods you would find one helluva lot of 'issues'. I recall how many tax cheats there were in the Obama administration, alone. I also remember that Congressional slush fund that was used (and still is being used) to pay off sexual abuse accusers. At taxpayers expense, in fact.
I seem to remember some years-long investigations into things like Benghazi and Fast and Furious, which were completely justified, and ultimately bore no fruit. Let's not try to pretend that Congressional investigations are a new phenomenon.
Who is saying they're a new phenomenon? That's not even the issue or question. The issue/question is what is or what is not justified.
