Censorship on university campuses targets historic figures

A major nationwide trend on campuses is the removal of historic artwork depicting prominent figures or scenes that are deemed offensive or racist by today’s standards.

The censorship is getting wider in scope. Controversial historical figures like Christopher Columbus and Woodrow Wilson have consistently drawn student outrage and protest, as have Confederate monuments, but other more beloved figures like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson are also beginning to attract controversy.

Hitler was the absolute "expert" on what was considered art in Nazi Germany.  He particularly had a problem with Jewish art and I would be willing to bet the "experts" on college campuses today will have the same problem. *hmmmm*

@rangerrebew

No problem. They can just replace them with pictures of Kunta Kinde,Martin Luther King,or other fictional characters.

There is a war on.
The schools are at the forefront of the battle.

And we should regard them as such, and take appropriate action to restore them "to the fold".

@Fishrrman

Of course they are. They are ran by weasels with no balls who hide in schools as teachers because that is the only place they can find or be treated with respect,and that is only because they are dealing with young people too inexperienced to judge them.

They then get these innocents fired up to fight their fights for them because they are incapable of fighting the fights themselves.

In effect,these people hid behind their mamas until they graduated from Teacher U,and then spend the rest of their lives hiding behind the skirts of their place of employment as they recruit innocents to go out and fight their fight for them.
