I read one of Stephen Kinzer's book years ago (on Guatemala) and then, another recently on Turkey. His specialty is "American interventionism", I use to wonder if he was anti-American. Then, in this video, he comes off as a rather amiable jovial person. I think he just reports on what he finds pretty straightforward.  It doesn't mean what he says can be rebuked but it certainly is an interesting take.
