Democrats are excitedly kicking the tires on the burgeoning Biden campaign, confident that he has the resume and chops to give President Trump the thrashing he deserves in 2020. Look a little deeper, though, and it is clear that the protective force field that surrounded Barack Obama also protected Joe Biden. The powers that purported that the Obama administration was scandal-free also created an artificial Joe Biden.

Joe Biden negotiated sequestration, the only successful effort to reduce the deficit in the past decade. Meanwhile, the Trump presidency has increased the deficit to early Obama-era levels with a far better economy. What kind of Bizarro World is this where the Democrat's the fiscal hawk?
