FBI raids home of Baltimore mayor, city offices

FBI and IRS agents on Thursday raided the home of Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh (D) as well as Baltimore City Hall, an FBI spokesman confirmed to the Baltimore Sun.

Dave Fitz, the FBI spokesman, told the newspaper that search warrants were executed at those locations as well as at the Maryland Center for Adult Training. Pugh previously led the nonprofit training program, according to the Sun.

You have to wonder whose honey pot she dipped her fingers into,don't you?

In March 2018 Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh announced at that the city would send 60 buses to the march against guns in Washington DC. later in the month.

The Baltimore city school system did not have the money to heat the schools in 2018 but found the money to bus kids to an anti-gun rally.

Earlier this week the FBI and IRS agents executed search warrants at two homes of Mayor Catherine Pugh, one of her businesses, offices in City Hall, as well as the residence of one of her aides.

Silverman said the controversy has made it more difficult for Pugh to recover her health, and that she now has bronchitis in addition to pneumonia. He said the mayor and her attorneys on Thursday discussed the option of her stepping down to focus on her recovery.

“She is generally aware that there is a consensus that she should resign,” Silverman said. “For people to make material decisions in their life, they have to be at a certain level of stability.”  ...

If she is not "lucid enough" to "decide", what -other- decisions regarding the governing of the city is she "lucid enough" to make?

Perhaps she should be adjudged incompetent and removed from office...

She is not going to go to prison. She is black and immune from prosecution in Baltimore. Prosecutions are for the little people.
