One of America's wealthiest cities has a huge problem with public poop.

Between 2011 and 2018, San Francisco experienced a massive increase in reported incidents of human feces found on public streets.

In 2011, just over 5,500 reports were logged by the San Francisco Department of Public Works; in 2018, the number increased to more than 28,000.

The government watchdog Open the Books documented the sharp increase over time in a stunning chart, first spotted by the BuzzFeed editor John Paczkowski.

Notably, this is a chart of only documented reports — the actual amount of feces on San Francisco's streets is likely even higher than these statistics suggest.

"I will say there is more feces on the sidewalks than I've ever seen growing up here," San Francisco Mayor London Breed told NBC in a 2018 interview. "That is a huge problem, and we are not just talking about from dogs — we're talking about from humans."

When I was in the Philippines in the early 70s, many of the toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned since WWII.  It might well have been more sanitary to drop a load in the street rather than use one of their terlets, but I don't remember ever seeing human feces anywhere.

Actually I had a plane connection in LA a couple of years ago and that's all of California that I plan to see, EVER...  lol.  LAX was a nightmare.  I had my 88 yr old mom in a wheelchair that had to be wheeled OUTSIDE by the planes to the adjoining terminal.

The edges of California are very nice.  Last year the wife and I stayed in extreme northern California (Redwood National Park) for a few days, and a few months ago drove around the eastern edges and eventually Death Valley. 
We've never gotten closer than about forty miles from LA.
If you don't mind the ridiculous gas prices, you might like the edges.

I believe the  growth of fecal matter in some liberal west coast  cities  represents some sort of correlation/parallel to the growth of liberalism. 

There's a literary phrase/word for that as well which I can't think of right now, but I think the comparison between the malignant growth of liberalism and increasing piles of fecal matter on liberal streets and sidewalks speaks volumes.

BTW, I've seen this first hand. Waiting at a redlight in city center saw an obviously homeless guy staggering down the sidewalk. Suddenly he stopped, whipped it out, and started pissing right there on the spot. Not in an alley. Not against a building. Nothing. He simply stopped walking and started pissing right out in the open. It is sad, but I had to chuckle when I thought of all the Liberals with their $500 shoes walking through this guy's pee. San Francisco is devolving back to the Middle Ages in Europe. And if they do step in crap or pee, it is dangerous to clean it because of Hepatitis and all the other diseases that could be transmitted this way.

There has to be at least one Liberal somewhere who is secretly thinking, "Maybe we didn't think this all the way through?"

This is why liberalism is so insidious. The considerations/feelings of a wayward member of society take precedence over the majority of the people who aren't wayward.
Liberals don't care if mainstreaming mentally ill people harms the majority who are not mentally ill. There are numerous other examples where liberals defend the weird at the expense of the non-weird. 
And in the end, the weird/deranged are not helped but usually harmed by the bleeding heart libs trying to "help" them.
