Mark Meadows with Maria Bartiromo – We’ll See Criminal Referrals From Inspector General On FISA Abuse

“Jim Jordan and I met with DOJ Inspector General Horowitz — he and his team have been doing a great job, and I might add an independent job to verify some of the things that we have long assessed as problems.”

“We’re fully anticipating that the inspector general’s report will come out as Attorney General Barr said in the next four to six weeks, and I think it’s highly likely that we’ll see criminal referrals coming from them that will correspond with what Chairman Devin Nunes has already put forth,” Meadows said.

Let's hope the ladders are climbed to the top and prosecutors are not satisfied with the lower rungs.

Ehhh...... I won't believe it unless or until I see it with my own eyes.  And hell, considering how weird it's getting ...

maybe not even then.   Justice has become a very elusive goal in America.

Color me skeptical, also.   I do so wish I wasn't but recent History has yanked me too many years into this sad morass I occupy.
No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

I completely understand. I used to have the highest respect for the FBI, our "intelligence" services and even trusted the FISA court judges were the best of the best. It's pretty disheartening to see how wrong I was. I think the people given the highest authority deserve the greatest punishment when they abuse that authority. It sure seems pretty clear a group of these people at the top abused their authority and now they should be going to prison.

There is a great deal of corruption that has gone unanswered in our federal government.  And I am sick and tired of hearing about the great FBI.  When Hoover ran the bureau, he was as dirty rotten as one could get.  I think the agency should be disbanded and what is kept is absorbed into Homeland.

We have too many agencies chasing the same boggeyman.  End the duplication now.  Get rid of anyone above first level supervision in the FBI.  And the same for the DOJ.

Hoover collected dirt on swamp creatures as insurance, in order to protect himself from powerful political enemies.

Comey et al tried to influence a presidential election, and failing that, the gang that couldn’t shoot straight tried to bring down the president of the United States. Sedition and treason.

Hoover was a piker in comparison.

Agreed. Comey etc. sought to exhonerateH. Clinton, and to frame the duly elected President: Trump.

aligncare....could not disagree more with your assertions.

Hoover was feared by all, and yes he had files on virtually everyone.  He he used those files to get what he wanted, frequently.  He was ruthless.

Comey on the other hand, along with his cohorts, committed sedition and treason and should be indicted and face the harshest penalties for both crimes, receiving the Rosenberg treatment, one and all.  Comey has nothing on Hoover, and he is revered today with FBI buildings named after him. I doubt Comey will be remembered 25 years from now.

I bet this one will be in the history books for a long time. They've out Watergated Watergate and out Domed Teapot Dome.  Heck, this one makes Grant look like a decent president.
