Arrested for the fourth time by Japanese police for suspected financial misdeeds, Carlos Ghosn is beginning to relive in a modern setting the tragic events that ended the reign (and life) of Julius Caesar.

Caesar, as you may remember from history class, was the Roman emperor who was responsible by dint of his political and military leadership, for creating a global empire that stretched across three continents.  As a general he created powerful alliances and ventured to places where no Roman general had ever set foot.

He undertook all sorts of reforms and eventually was declared dictator for life.

I've seen him in the news, I did not know much about what the news story was about. This seems to give a good synopsis of it.
