Trump Facebook post puts local woman on Secret Service radar

SAN ANTONIO — A local woman says a heated exchange on social media has turned her life and that of her family's upside down. A secret service agent paid her a visit after a comment she made put her on the federal agency's radar.

"I believe in what I say, and I'm going to stand behind it."

Candice Castillo is taking nothing back even after what she describes as an "are you kidding me" consequence stemming from the President's visit to Texas in January.

Emotions were high on both sides of the border wall debate when President Trump visited the border city of McAllen.

"As the feed was going everyone kind of seemed to get riled up."

Castillo says she was arguing with Trump supporters on Facebook when she wrote "Can someone shoot that fool between the eyes already and call it a day?"

Just two hours later.....

"And I hear a very loud bang on the door. As if someone was hitting my door with a bat."

A secret service agent and a detective with San Antonio police tracked her down. She couldn't believe it.

So, she says the threats against her are crimes, but her instigating threats against the President are freedom of speech.
