Nipsey Hussle‘s funeral procession was marred by more “senseless violence” on Thursday night, with one person being shot to death and three others wounded, according to cops.

“We must stop this,” tweeted Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore, who reported the drive-by shooting on Twitter. ...

Hussle’s funeral procession had started earlier in the day and was in the area of 103rd and Main streets when the shooting happened “in the midst” of it, Moore said. The LAPD later clarified that the shooting happened three blocks from the procession route.

“Suspects in gray Hyundai fired on the victims,” he tweeted.

Hussle, an admitted gang member-turned-activist who tried to use his fame to help better the LA community, was honored during a memorial service at the Staples Center before his procession — for which 21,000 people showed up. ...

I'm sad for the fatality.  I'm sure he was taking classes and was an aspiring hip-hop artist like his hero.  Turning his life around and all.

Shootings at funerals of black gangbangers are now  common occurrences.
It seems almost every time I read about some young black male's funeral, there is a drive-by shooting.
You'd think the cops would be on to these things and bolo for possible drive-by's.
