Obama-era Border Patrol Chief Mark Morgan said recent accusations by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) about the men and women who protect the southern border were "wrong" and "reckless."
The freshman House Democrat, speaking to her followers on Instagram Live Wednesday, said border agents are mistreating illegal immigrants and asylum-seekers based on their "national origin."
"At least I’m not trying to cage children at the border and inject them with drugs. That’s not a mistake, that’s just hatred," she said during a diatribe against Republicans.
