Romney: We have a 'responsibility' to fulfill Obama's 'commitment' to Dreamers

Which is the whole point of trading normalization for the Dreamers for increased funding for border security and changes to the asylum rules. 

But both left and right care far more about using the illegal immigration for their own selfish political purposes than actually solving the problem.   

I'm with Mitt on this one.  He wants to refocus the issue on finding a deal that can work for both sides, and benefit the nation.   Too bad those on the right are as cynical and uncaring as those on the left.

Oh stop with the hysteria.   A minor child is hardly an "invader".   The Dreamer proposals would allow such folks to remain provided they contribute to the nation by paying taxes, going to college, serving in the military, etc.    Most on both the right and the left consider such proposals reasonable, precisely because the Dreamers were not purposeful "invaders".    And for conservatives who want more border security,  they represent leverage to get a deal that would provide more funding.    Except, as Mitt appears to have forgotten,  the Dems are cynics who don't care about the Dreamers, not in any context where Trump might be able to declare a political victory.

Bull crap.  Not hysteria.  A minor child is her illegally because his/her parents are here illegally.  Though they did not arrive here on their own free will, their parents sure did.   Deportation of the illegal family is in order.

    The DACA proposals are intended to normalize the status of the Dreamers, not their parents.

Are you on drugs? The new "instant citizen" is an infant and can't care for him or herself,so in effect,they "sponsor" their mother and father to come here legally on a visa to take care of their own child. After they are here long enough,they also become citizens.

And the most influential are the churches and other charities that get government contracts to babysit the refugees to teach them English,feed and clothe them,provide them with immediate medical care,help them with the paperwork they need to get Medicaid cards,Food Stamps,goobermint housing,etc,etc,etc. All for a mere few million per city,of course. If only it were just "minor children" invading our country.   Catch a much needed clue for a refreshing change.  This is an orchestrated and deliberate creation of chaos by America's enemies without AND within.... to undermine our country and to collapse our economy, Cloward-Piven-style.  Anyone that doesn't see that by now is too stupid to be alive, IMO.  JS....
