Seeking Full Mueller Report, House Democrats Prepare to Vote on Subpoena

WASHINGTON — The House Judiciary Committee has scheduled a vote on Wednesday to authorize a subpoena that Democrats can use to try to force the Justice Department to hand over an unredacted copy of the special counsel’s report and underlying evidence.

Notably absent from the Times report is historical perspective; such as, what did the democrats do while Bill Clinton was waiting on the special prosecutor’s report into Lewinski to drop?

At the time the law required the special prosecutor to release the report in full. So, what did Nadler and company do back then? They argued against the law and sued to stop the release of the Star report.

After that, democrats changed the law so that the attorney general’s office first receives the special councel’s report, redacts sensitive information and determines what and how much to release publicly. Now, however, that’s not good enough for Nadler. Funny, huh?

I guess the dog must ate the millennial reporter’s notes. Nadler’s 180 – you know, for context – seems to be missing from this crack NYT report.

FNC has been quoting Rats who complained when President trump released a memo without redactions.  They whined it compromised National Security.  The irony is rich.

The subpoena is useless anyway because Congress lacks the legal authority to enforce it.  The entity that decides whether or not to enforce Congressional subpoenas is the Justice Department itself.

Oops.

...and they can only release what is LEGAL to release (supposedly).
