A polling station official and an election observer from an opposition party were shot dead in the eastern province of Malatya’s Pütürge district on Sunday during local elections, according to the Hürriyet Daily News.

I saw some quote, "Turkey doesn't have a history, it has a criminal record",  I've done all to accept them as a Nato ally that they are... but still.

They are having city, municipal elections in Turkey today but...Erdogan's party is apparently represented in those....and it was said in one place, the Erdogan party was doing well. Of course, who knows about those results, etc. etc.
