Rand Paul claims Brennan, Clapper, Comey 'sent spies into the Trump campaign'

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Thursday accused members of the intelligence committee who served under former President Obama of sending "spies" into President Trump's presidential campaign.

In an interview with "Fox & Friends" Thursday morning, the senator alluded to a "source" that he said supplied him with information about alleged efforts by members of Obama's Justice Department to gather information on the Trump campaign's activities.

"Well my source tells me that the intelligence community, Obama's intelligence community, [former CIA Director John] Brennan, [former Director of National Intelligence James] Clapper, [former FBI Director James] Comey, they were frustrated because they had this Russian dossier but nobody believed it was real," Paul said, referring to a dossier of claims about President Trump and Russia that had been compiled by a former British spy named Christopher Steele.

Well, except for the part where a sitting president's administration sends spies into the camp of the incoming, duly-elected president to see if they can create a situation wherein the new president isn't able to serve their term.

Several from Nixon's circle, did serve time in prison. AG Mitchel, Dean, Halderman, Erlichman, Colson, and others.

I will be satisfied when Sen. Paul and others, begin citing this list AND suggest the top LEO and Intelligence people involved this time around, need prison too.

By that measure, AG Lynch deserves to serve time.
