SAN ANTONIO - Catholic Charities estimates 5000 migrants have crossed the Texas/Mexico border this past week, now they are in their care.

Catholic Charities said more than a thousand migrants have been dropped off to the San Antonio Greyhound bus station.
This comes after overcrowded detention centers started releasing migrants.

"This past week has been very long for us, a lot of people crossing the border, a lot of people coming to San Antonio," Catholic Charities CEO Antonio Fernandez said.
