One of the students connected to the alleged college admissions bribe scandal may have played on UCLA’s championship runner-up women’s soccer team without any soccer experience.
According to a report from the Los Angeles Times, UCLA soccer player Lauren Isackson played on the 2017 NCAA Championship runner-up team even though she may have never played soccer before college.
Isackson is the daughter of Bruce Isackson, the owner of a real estate investment firm in California. Emails between Isackson’s mother and the alleged mastermind behind the fraud, William “Rick†Singer, were released as part of the Department of Justice’s investigation.
