11 years ago my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. We were on our annual anniversary getaway when one morning she rolled over in bed and asked me if I felt a lump in her breast. She grabbed my hand and guided it to the area. Sure enough, I felt a small pea sized node/lump. When we returned home we made appointments with her GP to check it out. After all the test and biopsies and visits with different specialist, our worst fears were confirmed. Breast cancer. Good news was we detected it early. But still the best course action was the choice between a single or double mastectomy and then Chemo.

I'm not going to go into all the hell that followed except to say it has been ten years this month since her oncologist said there were no signs of cancer. And then every year since...and including this last check-up, no signs. We are are still blessed.

Cancer is a bitch. It is a club you don't want to be a part of. But if you get a membership, sometimes there is a way to overcome.

I am not sure if I agree with everthing Dr. Panzera wrote...but I think it is important that you feel your wife or partner up and often.

Good article!  Thanks for posting.  Mrs. Liberty had rels  survive, and others not survive from this.
For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death — if you’re unvaccinated — for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm. Sloe Joe Biteme 12/16
