Swedish Government to open doors to China's Islamic Uighurs

The Swedish Government will be opening up country's doors and offering asylum to an estimated 11 million of China's persecuted Uyghur Muslims, potentially doubling Sweden's population.

Swedish Migration Board made the decision this week, which would allow Chinese Islamic Uyghurs, or Uighurs, to claim asylum in Sweden by easing up the regulations to guarantee entry.

The board decided that all persecuted Muslims would be welcome, Swedish broadcaster Sveriges Radio reports, despite the number of potential asylum seekers being larger than Sweden's current population, which is estimated to be about 10.2 million people.

Since the 2015 migrant crisis in Europe, Sweden has already taken large numbers of refugees.

Uighurs will be granted refugee status in Sweden in an effort to protect the Turkic minority from alleged internment camps in China.

The Swedish Migration Agency has declared that all Uighurs will be granted protection status, with their background sufficient evidence to justify they face persecution.

UN experts and activists say ‘re-education camps’ hold up to a million of the mostly Muslim ethic minority despite China strongly denying any accusations of mistreatment.

So, yeah, it looks like the first story would be correct... if every Uighur Muslim of China took the offer up.

It's nice to have open-arms for your fellow man, the foreigner but you've also got to think of the people from your own country. It's not fair to them to do that to their homeland. This is a gripe in a few places where refugees have been resettled. What about those already there?  I know, we don't want to be too selfish, to be reasonable. I have no idea how extreme these Uighurs are. Some of them, sound like they are not but still.

This is why they are putting a lot of these people in these internment camps. Come on Sweden!
