Who'da thunk Myst would limit Poll options to 12 realizing some Briefers are so easily confused.

No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

I can't decide, they all suck dogs running.  I need a 12-sided coin.

The field of players is nowhere near complete.  I invalidate this poll to such time as the reprobates debate.

  • Ah, the air is so much fresher here...
If the field stays as is and if Handsy Joe jumps in, my bet is Biden. If that doesn't hold, it's anyone's game.

If not Joe, whoever it is will be weak.

I notice no option for Hillary.  LOL

Some people think she will enter the race.  I doubt it.  If she does, she's nuts.  Seems she barely survived the 2016 race.

A lot will depend on whether the radical socialists can fire up enough of their mainly youthful base to actually get behind Bernie or some other radical socialist.  These youngsters will show up at rallies, but how many of them actually vote?    I do believe the old timers like Biden are done or nearly done.  We are going to see the party reject the old guard and go for the radicals, if not in 2020, definitely within the next 10 years.

I think they already have.  Look at how the House Freshmen have Pelosi cowed.

Slow Joe......   The flooding of communist upon us like AOC is just a ruse to make Uncle Creepy look moderate and electable.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Yeah, it reminds me of 2004.  Howie Dean was the big new thing, but self destructed in IA when the voters got a load of all the punks with orange stocking hats.  Kerry replaced Dean as the "default" candidate, and I see Sloe Joe doing the same next year.

Kamala Harris. She is highly popular in two big Rat states (CA and NY), has big-donor sources of campaign funding, and checks two big "grievance group" boxes - black and female. She's also telegenic and fairly articulate, and would undoubtedly strive to make Trump look like a big bully during debates.
"The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

Yup.   That's who I picked, too.  She's a nasty piece of work,  but I don't think any of the others are in her league.

Edit:   Actually, based on what I've observed of the Dem rat race,  there is a candidate that, at least on the basis of his evident intelligence and ability to articulate his positions in a manner reminiscent of Bill Clinton,  is head and shoulders above the rest.   And he's not in the poll -  South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg.

Can't vote!  You failed to include the "I don't give a s%*t" option!

If democrats hope to see any chance of defeating President Trump it will be because of the entrance of a candidate from out of left field, someone with no prior national exposure. In modern times that’s where successful democratic presidential candidates have come from.

Think about it. This was true for Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. Even JFK fits this template. So, in my opinion, a democratic leader won’t emerge from the current field. Give it some thought.

I never heard of the mayor till about a minute before I opened this thread.  There was some story about him on the local news.  Only thing this story said was that he wants to get rid of the Electoral College.  I sure hope he has more to offer if he wants to win.  One issue candidates don't usually win.

Oh, don't get me wrong -  I am hardly suggesting support for Mayor Buttigieg.   But I've taken the time to listen to some of these candidates,  and most are spools of empty rhetoric like Beto.   Buttigieg impressed me with his ability to articulate,  in a way that reminded, and worried, me back in 1992 with Bill Clinton.

And those 'Left Field' unknowns are the ones the press will not vet or will bury the vetting of the negs till after the election.  ie B. Hussein and Forked O'Rourke just to name two....
