It has a strong licorice taste to it.  People either love it or hate it.  I like it, so I say it was very good.  I got mine from BevMo, made in France.

I'm ok with licorice flavor (can take it or leave it).  I'm just wondering whether I would like it enough to spend a lot on it.  Somehow, I doubt it.  Would probably want to sample/try it first.

I've never cared for cookies with coconut either.  But my maternal grandmother made a coconut cake... from scratch... that was to die for.
