David Kramer, a longtime associate of the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), revealed in an unsealed deposition that he had contact with at least 14 members of the media regarding the Steele dossier—a collection of 17 memos containing unverified allegations against Donald Trump.

Additionally, Kramer gave a full copy of the unverified dossier to then-Senior Director for Russian Affairs at the National Security Council Celeste Wallander, Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.), and then-House Speaker Paul Ryan’s chief of staff, Jonathan Burks. Kramer also provided a briefing in early December 2016 on the dossier to both Wallander and Victoria Nuland, then the assistant secretary of state for Europe and Eurasian Affairs.

Wrong title, article is about David Kramer.  David Kramer's actions are totally mentioned.  Some people here will say McCain told him to do it, but since McCain is dead, we can't talk to him.  Trump has not mentioned David Kramer, he lays all the blame on McCain, whom we cannot talk to since he is dead.  David Kramer gave the information out, but in the not distant time from Kramer's actions, the information in the dossier came out, anyway.  We could ask McCain about this, but he is dead.

Of course some people here will blame McCain.  The man is gone there is nothing can be done about it.  Wise men store up knowledge, but the mouth of a fool invites ruin. Trump's tweets and mouth invite ruin not of McCain's memory but of himself.

Oh, there will be plenty of opportunities to verify McCain's involvement, as there are plenty of other witnesses involved:

"Kramer said that he wasn’t aware of the content of McCain’s Dec. 9 discussion with Comey, noting that he “did not get any readout from the senator on the meeting, but just that it had happened.”

Kramer did, however, provide updates to both Steele and Simpson regarding the status of McCain’s meeting with Comey, in subsequent discussions with Simpson and Steele:

“It was mostly just to inform him about whether or not the senator had transfer — transmitted the document to the FBI. Both he and Mr. Steele were — I kept them apprised of whether the senator was — where the senator was in terms of his contact with the FBI.”

The implications of this statement are significant. Kramer, a private citizen, was providing updates to a former British spy as to what a sitting senator was saying to the director of the FBI."

No matter what Trump tweets or does not tweet is NOT going to change a damn thing.  McCain is dead and buried and those who hate him will continue to do so and those who love him will continue to love him.  Tweeting about McCain makes Trump look like a vengeful person.

Why??  McCain may be dead but the news surrounding what he did continues. Proof continues to come out that he was nothing more than an arrogant s.o.b. who sided more times than not with the DEMS. Trump would look foolish not to defend himself.  McCain was no hero and greatly added to the destruction of our Republic.

I just want people to know the truth. I'm not hateful, but McCain's legacy is of no concern to me.

We are constantly reminded that CEOs are responsible for actions taken by underlings.  I'm reminded of this principle every time somebody sarcastically pipes up that Trump hires "only the best people!"

The Senator sent Kramer to personally collect the "fake" dossier from Steele in London, then handed it off to the FBI himself.  If Kramer shopped it all around  DeeCee it was with McCain's express permission.  Just because the Senator clinged to power until he croaked does not make him immune to criticism.   Joe McCarthy was roundly criticized after his death, all the way up to present day.

Excellent points. However, I wouldn’t waste them on that particular poster. She thinks Comey and Mueller are straight shooters.
