Beck to Hannity: 'We are officially at the end of the country as we know it' if Trump loses in 2020
By Joe Concha - 03/19/19 09:34 AM EDT

Blaze Media's Glenn Beck in an interview Monday with Fox News's Sean Hannity said if President Trump and the GOP lose in 2020, "we are officially at the end of the country as we know it."

In his remarks, Beck painted the picture of socialists, anarchists and "Islamists" working together to take down not only the United States but Europe as well.

He did not mention white supremacists in his remarks, which came a few days after 50 people were killed at two mosques in New Zealand in an episode of violence that shocked much of the world.
"I said what was coming and the last few steps were that the radicals, the anarchists, the Islamists, the socialists would all gather together, they would not be working together, plotting together, but they would see the opportunity and they would all come together and work to destabilize Europe and America," Beck said. "And that is exactly what is happening.”

"If the Republicans don't win in this next election, I think we are officially at the end of the country as we know it," he concluded. "We may not survive even if we win, but we definitely don't if the Republicans lose with Donald Trump."

He's right,too.

He would be even "more right" if he included the traitors that due to being born into political families consider themselves to be the "New Royalty" who are entitled to rule over us due to the accident of their birth. People like the Kennedy's,Clinton's,Romney's,etc, etc, etc. Many of these people rule from deep in the background from behind the desks of their corporations, trust funds, and "charitable foundations" that always seem to support the family fortunes.
Anyone who isn't paranoid in 2021 just isn't thinking clearly!

Sorry, but this is as much exaggerated hyperbole as the constant drum of 'this is the most important election of our lifetime' (every damn election).

We have faced so much in this country, frankly, far worse than we face now and have come out better and stronger.

On top of that, there is so much changing when it comes to technology and information, it is almost impossible to really predict even a year or two out how things would look or be. We are constantly being faced with disruptive events (black swan events). We are also seeing that people's opinions and views are changing faster and ideological burn-out takes place at a much more rapid pace.

Beck is right about how many groups on the left are coming together for common goals.....

BUT.....

...what he fails to see is how they are over-reaching and becoming almost parodies of themselves. Look at AOC. She went from a darling of the left to a joke within weeks. People even have Bernie fatigue with him becoming a joke in many ways with liberals.

I'm starting to see the gun control debate flip on the liberals too. With the shooting in New Zealand and the calls for gun control there, a new meme has popped up- that they are trying to 'disarm innocent Muslims, preventing them from defending themselves'. I am seeing a similar attitude in the gay community. The left is burning out some of their groups by swinging too far on certain issues.

Libertarian type movements are also starting to see great increases in numbers, and this is about as anti-socialist as you can get. Millennials aren't as liberal as people believe, they actually fall into the Libertarian side of thinking.

All of this adds up to a future that will be difficult to predict. But what I do believe is that the left is self destructing with their rapid swings and over-playing their hand.

Well, I'll predict it.
It ain't gonna be good.
No, it's not gonna be "the end" in 2020. Not yet.

But -- unless there is a big change of direction in the way the country in particular, and The West in general is heading -- the end "is out there".

And it's gettin' closer.

I tend to agree with your assessment. It won't necessarily be the end of the U.S. as we have known it, but I don't like the trend.
The Dems keep going leftwards and nominating and championing outright nuts like Beatle (Brain) O'Rourke.
AOC is a hero to millions of young people. In six years she'll be eligible to run for president.
Nothing stays the same. We either have an upward trajectory or a downwards one.
Right now we're in a downwards one that is currently braked somewhat.
But if one of the many Dem screwballs gets in next year, the downward trend will be accelerated.

I remember people saying the same thing if Obama was re-elected.

I was one of those and although I'm feeling a little better about it now, I'm still not sure I was wrong.
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
FUD.
Yep How many times have we been at the end of this country as we knew it?
1956
1960
1963
1965
1968
1969
1972
etc...

Every time the country shuffles toward totalitarianism, it changes, and not for the better.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
