President Trump on Friday is expected to issue the first veto of his presidency, nixing legislation passed this week to block his declaration of a national emergency at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Senators voted Thursday 59-41 to pass the resolution of disapproval blocking Trump’s declaration. Twelve GOP senators broke rank and voted with all the Democrats.

The measure passed the House last month, 245-182.

The president is set to speak about his decision at 3:30 p.m.

Reporter: Do you see white nationalism as a rising threat around the world?
President Trump: “I don’t really. I think it's a small group of people that have very, very serious problems. I guess, if you look at what happened in New Zealand, perhaps that's a case."
