Kathy Griffin Claims She ‘Didn’t Do’ Anything Wrong; Insists Ivanka is ‘Feckless C**t’
By Gabriel Hays | March 13, 2019 2:26 PM EDT

Denial is an addictive coping mechanism, and comedian Kathy Griffin’s latest interview is a masterclass on how it turns people into a contemptible pile of crazy. Griffin used the friendly lefty reporters at The Daily Beast to spin another account of her innocence and mistreatment by President Trump after her unsavory decapitation performance art.

In The Daily Beast’s Wednesday “Hell of a Story,” the disgraced actress deflected:

Never in the history of the United States has a sitting president used the power of the Oval Office, the first family, the right-wing media, and the Department of Justice to try to make an American citizen unemployable and uninsurable for an absolute non-threat that was covered by the First Amendment.

Great guns, move on lady.

Why not try something new, like becoming a comedienne?

Comedienne is some kind of universal pass card in Hollywood.
You can be the most vulgar violent strident Leftist on Earth,
but as long as you say "comedienne"
then somehow suddenly everything is forgiven.

YES I hate everyone in America! I hate all Americans and America!
Comedienne! Comedienne! Therefore, no consequences...
I'm pulling my comedianne card...
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
Rational fear and anger at vicious murderous Islamic terrorists is the same as irrational antisemitism, according to the Leftists.

The first amendment doesn’t protect from the fallout from their freedom to speak.

Uh... because.... she's... not funny...?   Just another shrewish libhag hater.  And that's only funny to other shrewish libhag haters.  There is nothing remotely amusing or funny to normal people about Griffin.

I think a lot of people are confused what the First Amendment protects.  Threatening violence on somebody is not protected. Now, I do believe what she did is protected under the First Amendment. Correct me if I’m wrong, but she never made statements about how she would like to do that to the president if she could.

But, she doesn’t strike me as very bright. Just because you exercise your right to free speech does not mean that private entities still must accommodate you.
I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

You are correct, she did have the legal right to do that and have it published. And the public had the legal right to be disgusted by it and her shrewish behavior. Her sponsors and employers (Squaty potty, CNN) had the legal right to cancel her contracts and distance themselves from her. The American public voted with their feet and their pocketbooks and told her "No thank you". Heck even Anderson Cooper was smart enough to take a step back.
In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

In all honesty, Kewpie stepped back because she tried to give him a Beej that New Years Eve on TeeVee a few years back.

@skeeter

Because she tried that, and other than "my gays",was a total failure. Doing things like this is the only way she can hope to remain relevant enough to not have to try to get an actual job.
