The Democrat Party has lost its mind. What’s happening there, however, is not happening in isolation. In society and in life nothing happens in isolation.

There’s a word that describes the Party’s behavior: nihilism: “a viewpoint that traditional values and beliefs are unfounded and that existence is senseless and useless, a doctrine that denies any objective ground of truth and especially moral truths.”

That definition fits the current Democrat Party. The Party and the left place little or no value on tradition, the Constitution, the sanctity of life, borders, private property rights, voting-law enforcement, election outcomes, standards of behavior, or free speech. These are all fundamentally different kinds of rules or systems of rules. The left does not like rules (at least not for themselves).

The Democrat Party has now made almost a full transition from liberalism to leftism. There is a difference. Old time liberals, rightly or wrongly,  simply wanted to change certain distinct laws. Leftists want to destroy everything that has made America great. 
The modern version of liberalism was just a inch away from full leftism and has been moving there since 1972 when George McGovern was nominated.
I was a Dem at the time and watched in shock as leftist nut after nut walked up to the podium at the Dem prez convention. I did not vote for McGovern who was a WWII hero. He was crushed by Nixon in the general election.
But any moderate Dems retired long ago or are discouraged/barred from the modern DP. No Democrat who is anti-abortion or against weird-sex "rights" can be nominated by the Dem Party.
Now many Dem pols are enabling anti-Semites in the party.
So it should not be a shock that today's Dem Party has virtually shucked any pretense of plain liberalism and gone fullbore leftist.

The democrat-communist party is not self-anhihilating.
It's growing.

Although they once needed "the Jewish vote", they don't need it no mo'. They realize that the Jews aren't propagating themselves, and that Hispanics, legal and particularly illegal, do so in large numbers.

Same for muslims, whose numbers in America are increasing ... rapidly.

They will become the new demo-commie constituency, along with the loonie, self-loathing (and STUPID) white social "just-us" warriors.

These people will never willingly re-enter the American mainstream.

A reckoning is ahead.

It grows tha way any unchecked parasite grows by consuming its host until it too must inevitably starve because it has destroyed its food supply.

At that point it will either mutate again (Venezuela) or be taken over by a competeing/foreign system. And American Soy be damned but that system is currently Communist China.

We've been in the opening stages of that takeover now for 4 decades by giving China our wealth for their manufactured Land Fill. (None of the product we've bought from them has the life expectancy of a bar of gold.) It's all, eventually, land fill.
