Teens involved in swastika party apologize as outrage grows. ‘My actions were disgusting’

Los Angeles Times (TNS) 22 hrs ago

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Teens who attended an Orange County party this weekend that included Nazi symbolism purportedly had this to say:
“I want to express my deepest remorse and regret.”
“I made a poor decision.”

“We made a very big mistake.”
“I am so sorry.”
“My actions were disgusting, appalling, irresponsible.”

The house party included cups shaped in the form of a swastika and a Nazi salute.
A parent, who asked not to be identified, released handwritten letters of apology Monday about the same time a huge crowd gathered to denounce the anti-Semitism that had roiled the Newport Beach and Costa Mesa communities since images from the party went viral Sunday.

I am ashamed none of us stepped up to take down t
his sign, and we should have stepped up right then and there to say it’s not right,” his child wrote.

Youth hockey team suspended over anti-Semitic video: ‘F–king Jews’
By Michael Blinn
April 1, 2019

The Los Angeles Jr. Kings suspended 15 players and three coaches following an incident in which a player on the 14U Bantam AAA team was captured on video appearing to do a Nazi salute while individuals laughed and could be heard making disparaging remarks toward Jews.

According to The Athletic, the 9-second clip includes what sounds like, “Are you a Nazi?,” “F–k the Jews” and “F–king Jews.” Team officials became aware of the video before the final game of a Las Vegas tournament in March and decided to suspend all those who attended and coached while the incident is investigated. ...

While the team plays and practices in the same facility as the Los Angeles Kings, it is not owned or operated by the NHL franchise. ...

Why is this happening?  Is "Nazism" the one big remaining taboo?  Do they even learn anything about that type of fascistic socialism and the times and people who created it?  Is this just something they see referred to in social media, and pick up on it as the ultimate symbol of teenage rebellion?

I can't even imagine how or why suburban Los Angeles white kids, including junior hockey players, believe Jews have done anything to them or are such a threat as to warrant such hatred. Disgusting.
