Forbes names Kylie Jenner the youngest self-made billionaire in history

Forbes magazine on Tuesday named Kylie Jenner, 21, the youngest self-made billionaire in the world, surpassing Mark Zuckerberg.
An analysis of her company, Kylie Cosmetics, which is estimated to be worth $900 million, and her own personal financial holdings estimates Jenner to be at the $1 billion mark. Jenner is two years younger than Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, was when he left Harvard University to found his social media company.
Jenner's surge in fortune is due largely in part to her brand's expansion in to physical storefronts last year, the magazine reports, noting that revenue for Kylie Cosmetics grew to $360 million over the year after her products began appearing in Ulta beauty stores.
“I didn’t expect anything. I did not foresee the future,†Jenner told Forbes. “But [the recognition] feels really good. That’s a nice pat on the back.â€
