The Origins of ‘Spygate’: 10 Questions

Take, for example, text messages sent between FBI agent Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page—both of whom were working on the counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign—in which Page asked Strzok: “He’s not ever going to become president, right? Right?!”

“No. No he won’t. We’ll stop it,” Strzok responded.

Here are 10 key questions that remain to be answered in the scandal that has become known as “Spygate”:
1. What were the roles of the CIA and Brennan’s ‘Interagency Task Force’?

Former CIA Director John Brennan has admitted in testimony before Congress and in media interviews that he passed intelligence received from the UK on the Trump campaign to the FBI with the intention of having the bureau investigate it.

“I made sure that anything that was involving U.S. persons, including anything involving the individuals involved in the Trump campaign, was shared with the [FBI],” Brennan said during a May 23, 2017, congressional testimony.

“It served as the basis for the FBI investigation to determine whether such collusion [or] cooperation occurred.”

Notably, Brennan met with Robert Hannigan, the head of UK spy agency GCHQ, in Washington in the summer of 2016. The meeting was unusual, since Hannigan’s equivalent in the United States would have been National Security Agency (NSA) Director Adm. Mike Rogers.

We know from statements by Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) that there was no official intelligence product that served as the basis of the Trump investigation, meaning all the intelligence-sharing consisted of unofficial intelligence products.

Also in the summer of 2016, Brennan set up a joint task force that included, according to reporting by the BBC, six agencies or government departments: the CIA, the FBI, the Treasury Department, the Justice Department (DOJ), the ODNI, and the NSA.
2. How exactly did the FBI use the ‘Steele dossier’?

The dossier produced by former British MI6 official Christopher Steele played a key role in the FBI’s investigation of the Trump campaign, as well as the creation of the public perception that Trump colluded with Russia. None of the key 103 allegations contained in the Steele dossier were confirmed in the investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller.

Steele had been hired by Fusion GPS, which, in turn, had been hired by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Clinton campaign—through their law firm Perkins Coie—to produce the dossier on Trump.

Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson, alongside Steele, actively pushed the false allegations contained in the dossier through the FBI, the DOJ, the State Department, and the media.

An investigation by the House Intelligence Committee showed that the FBI relied heavily on the Steele dossier in its application for a FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) warrant to spy on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. We also know that the FISC (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court) wasn’t informed that the dossier was a political opposition research project funded by an opposing political campaign.

The FBI had used Steele as a paid official source until it severed relations with him over his unauthorized contact with the media.

How exactly did the FBI use the Steele dossier in its counterintelligence investigation, and at what point did the bureau know that the information contained in it was false?
3. What was Obama’s role in the Trump investigations?

It’s unclear how much former President Barack Obama was involved in the investigations of the Trump campaign. Given the involvement of the directors of the CIA and FBI in the highly sensitive investigations of a presidential candidate, it’s unlikely he wasn’t aware.

In a Jan. 20, 2017, email written by Obama’s national security adviser Susan Rice to herself—marked “TOP SECRET”—she memorialized a meeting that took place in the Oval Office earlier that month. In the now partially declassified email, Rice wrote that those present included Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, FBI Director Comey, and Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates. During the meeting, Obama allegedly told the attendees that when it came to the Russia investigation, he was committed to ensuring “this issue [was] handled by the Intelligence and law enforcement communities ‘by the book.'”

We also know that in January 2017, Obama received a briefing by Brennan, Comey, and DNI James Clapper in which he was given a summary of the Steele dossier, which was attached to an intelligence report.

Trump recently hinted in an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity that Obama was aware:

“It is inconceivable when it goes to Clapper, Brennan, Comey, these people, I would imagine that some other people, maybe a little bit higher up also knew about it, and maybe a lot higher up,” Trump said.

We know the president is the Commander In Chief, meaning he has the ultimate power to wield the military at his discretion.

6. The only real limitation he has is the requirement to notify congress within 48 hours that he has deployed the military. And, if troops are placed into combat situations, they may remain there up to 90 days before there MUST be a declaration of war by congress.

7. Otherwise, the president is supposed to pull the troops back or face impeachment. You are more than welcome to peruse the pages of the Title 50 US Code section 33 to verify my summation.

So, what exactly is the military code? Is it Title 50? Well, no.
8. That's not related to the military besides the ability to use it. What about the radio call signs? You know, the phonetic alphabet. Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo...etc. Many in QAnon believed this, along with common military acronyms might be the code Q asks about.
9. But, I would venture to say MOST people, especially us veterans, immediately thought about the UCMJ. The Uniform Code of Military Justice. That damned rule book that haunted every service member. It is the equivalent to State or Federal law, but applies to the military and...

When I first covered this Q drop months ago, I went with what most veterans were saying. The UCMJ was the obvious choice as I'm a veteran. But, not this time around.
11. Re-reading this drop with the concept in mind that "You have more than you know" and "We have it all", I believe there's something more to this.
You see, we're looking at military tribunals, hoping for military arrests of the traiterous assholes, right?
12. The SCOTUS decisions are what most Anons point to as precedent for the military trying civilians. BUT, what about the document that provides the UCMJ its authority? Here is the MCM, the Manual for Courts-Martial. A 772 page document of "light reading".

13. This document is something very special. You see, this document covers all military law, its application AND its jurisdiction. A unique attribute of this document, is that it is often edited by the President of the United States. No other individual has that authority.
14. And, every president HAS altered it at some point since 1984 when the right to alter it was granted to the sitting president. Now it is governed, explained, and its contents defined by, The Joint Service Committee on Military Justice (JSC) jsc.defense.gov.
15. They also make recommendations to the POTUS of any changes they believe should be made. The MCM is the epitome of military code. In fact, the other codes Anons thought might fall under Q's question about what is the military code, are found inside the MCM, one way or another.
16. What's so important about the MCM? 1. The MCM defines the military's ability to enforce laws. 2. The method that the military legal structure must operate as well as rights and privileges afforded to the accused, to victims, to witnesses and more are covered under the MCM.
17. So, if obama and the #DeepState believed their illegal ventures may someday fall under the auspices of the MCM, we would probably find that he had altered it to relieve himself and others of the laws and statutes contained in it. Right? Well, you can see the changes he made.

Former House Oversight Chair Trey Gowdy claims the FBI withheld potential game-changing evidence from the FISA court during the Russia probe; insight from North Carolina Congressman Mark Meadows, Republican member of the House Oversight Committee.

House Oversight Committee member Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., said Monday he believes the declassification of key documents tied to the Russia probe is "right around the corner" and says he agrees with former committee chair Trey Gowdy that the FBI withheld potential "game-changing" evidence.

"(Gowdy) has seen documents that actually I have not seen," Meadows told "Fox & Friends."

"But we have come to the same conclusion and that is, indeed, (former Trump campaign associate) George Papadopoulos was actually taped and recorded" and that there are transcripts of the interviews that could shed light on the Russia probe and its origins.

Gowdy said Sunday on Fox News that the FBI withheld evidence from the FISA court during the Russia probe. The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court oversees requests for surveillance warrants against alleged foreign spies inside the United States.

Gowdy, a Fox News contributor, believes there are unreleased transcripts of recorded conversations between FBI informants and Papadopoulos and has pressed for the release of the transcripts.

"Where are the transcripts, if any exist, between the informants and the telephone calls to George Papadopoulos?" he asked.

Meadows said he has spoken with Papadopoulos and said that when Trump declassifies records, "the American people will be astonished to see not only was it going on and the president was right, he was actually taped and recorded but other than that, he was not colluding with the Russians and they knew this very early on. So that could be the game changer that (Gowdy) was referring to."

Now retired U.S. Air Force Brigadier General James R. McCarthy commanded a wing of Strategic Air Command (SAC) B-52s during the height of the Cold War that kept American nuclear weapons airborne, encircling Russia twenty-four hours per day — for decades. The B-52s comprised one leg of America’s “nuclear triad” of bombers, submarines, and missile silos that relentlessly maintained around-the-clock deterrence against a Soviet preemptive nuclear attack on the United States.

That attack could come unannounced at any moment if America should let down her guard.
General McCarthy of the Strategic Air Command recalled in a documentary:

There was a story that used to be told. There was a general and he would go to the Russian premier and the question was “Is today the day we can take on the United States and we can come out ahead?” The general would say “not today sir.” And our job [at SAC] was to make sure that every day that was his answer.

U.S. Air Force B-52s carrying nuclear weapons patrolled at high altitude near the Soviet Union’s borders 24 hours per day for years in order to maintain deterrence against a Soviet first strike.

President Trump’s job is to make certain the latest generation of Russian generals have no choice other than to provide that very same answer to current Russian President Vladimir Putin: “Not today sir.”

    Reactivated the U.S. Navy 2nd Fleet (deactivated by President Obama in 2011) to patrol the North Atlantic and to challenge Russia.

    Established, with his Army Chief of Staff General Mark Milley, a new Four Star Army Command called Futures Command to develop advanced weapon technologies that can challenge Russia and China in the wake of President Barack Obama’s cancellation of Future Combat Systems.

    Issued an executive order preparing the U.S. to counter, react, and respond to a nuclear electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack.

    Announced a new “Star Wars” missile defense system even more advanced than the system envisioned by Ronald Reagan.

    Established a sixth branch of the armed forces:  the U.S. Space Force.

    Ordered the establishment of U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM) in December 2018.

    Appointed the architect of Reagan’s “Star Wars” SDI program to direct the Pentagon’s advanced technology programs and to restart “Star Wars” — a highly effective and symbolic move.

    Withdrew the United States from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty on which Russia was cheating.

Russia’s And China’s Long-Range Communist Plan

According to Soviet KGB defector Major Anatoliy Golitsyn, the Russians and the Chinese secretly cooperated as a team against the United States. The two communist powers staged a fake adversarial relationship known as the “Sino-Soviet Deception,” duping the West for decades as they secretly coordinated plans to destroy it.

According to Golitsyn’s book The Perestroika Deception, the Soviets faked the “fall of communism” in preparation for the final war against the West.

Major Golitsyn revealed to CIA Counterintelligence Chief James Angleton the KGB’s planned “special maneuver” known as “The Perestroika Deception” in pursuit of worldwide victory for communism. Under this “special maneuver” the Soviets trick the West into believing that the Cold War is over. According to the KGB plan, the West then naively lets down its guard; this is exactly what has happened, allowing Russia to gain sufficient strategic military advantage to eventually force the West to merge into worldwide communism.

Major Golitsyn, who worked inside the KGB’s strategic planning department, opens his book The Perestroika Deception with a quote by ancient Chinese military strategist Sun Tzu:

All warfare is based on deception. Therefore, when capable, feign incapacity; when active, inactivity. When near, make it appear that you are far away; when far away, that you are near.

Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) recently warned that China’s military buildup suggests that the rising communist superpower is “preparing for World War III.”
The “Wall Street Journal” reported on the “Bolshevik plague,” stating that, over the last 100 years, communism has killed 100 million people. Want to Dismantle Capitalism? Abolish the Family
Feminist theorist Sophie Lewis’s new book looks at how rethinking pregnancy and the idea of family as forms of labor is central to emancipatory [UNMITIGATEDLY TREASONOUS, SATANIC, MARXIST/GLOBALIST GENOCIDAL] politics.

Arguably the most infamous demand of The Communist Manifesto is the “abolition of the family.” The family, Marx and Engels noted, was where patriarchy and capitalism worked in tandem to produce willing, alienated workers, where women became little more than “instruments of production” for the men who lorded over them. Radical queer politics in the 1960s and ’70s added to their critique of the bourgeois family when activists challenged the heteronormativity of familial relations. That demand, however, has since almost completely vanished from the leftist imaginary.

Sophie Lewis, a feminist theorist and geographer, takes up this forgotten struggle in her work. Her new book, Full Surrogacy Now: Feminism Against Family (Verso, 2019) specifically links family abolition to a radical reconceptualization of pregnancy itself. The act of carrying a child to term, she insists, is work—labor that has long been exploited and overlooked by the academy—and so is mothering.

By thinking through the logic of commercial surrogacy arrangements, Lewis lays bare the ways motherhood has been weaponized as an ideological construct. She gives us an account of the material conditions—the biological and societal violence—that gestators, or people who are carrying fetuses, have to bear. Her book shows us that the ostensibly feminist objection to surrogacy arrangements underwrites the ossified and alienated familial relations that make capitalism possible. Last month I sat down with her over a cup of tea at The Nation’s offices and talked about why rethinking gestation is central to an emancipatory politics, how we can use surrogacy to subvert oppression, and what kinship beyond possession, beyond capitalism, beyond patriarchy could look like.
