The leader of NXIVM ran an all-male fraternity that later allowed women into the curriculum and used “horribly demeaning” tactics to humiliate them, according to testimony from a former member of the inner circle of the group.

During the trial of Keith Raniere, who is facing seven criminal counts including racketeering, wire fraud conspiracy, and sex trafficking, Mark Vicente, a member of the NXIVM inner circle and the de facto videographer of the group for more than a decade, testified about his experience as one of the founding members of the head council of Society of Protectors, one of the many companies under the NXIVM umbrella, which operated as a sort of fraternity for male members of the group.

Founded in 2011, Society of Protectors (or SOP, for short) was founded as the male equivalent to JNESS, the all-female group within NXIVM that charged $5,000 a pop for 8-day workshops. The goal of the group, Vicente testified, was to “build character” among male members and help turn members “from little boys into men.”

As part of the group, members of SOP were required to perform “readiness drills,” in which one leader of the group would send a text asking if the others were “ready,” and all would be required to respond immediately. The idea of the readiness drills, which required members to be on alert 24/7, was to prepare the men in cases of emergency, such as if a member was missing, though there was only one instance Vicente could recall when that actually happened. “The idea was, leave no man behind,” he said.

Members of SOP were also required to provide “collateral” to help them achieve their goals such as recruiting new members. Vicente said he would pay the group as much as $1,500 as a form of collateral: “if you said the thing you said you’d do, you’d get money back, if not you’d lose it,” he testified. Both  collateral and readiness drills were also used by NXIVM leaders in the all-female secret sorority, DOS, to keep group members in line, according to last week’s testimony from Sylvie, a former DOS member; unlike members of SOP, however, whose collateral was largely monetary, female DOS members were required to provide it in the form of graphic naked photos or embarrassing testimonials.

In 2013, Raniere decided that he wanted to open up the SOP curriculum to female members of NXIVM, dubbing the new course SOP Complete. Although Vicente testified that he initially had “concerns” about opening up the group to women, he later relented when female members of NXIVM’s inner circle spoke with him and said they wanted to take the class.

Those concerns turned out to have been justified, however, when Raniere introduced SOP Complete to group members by telling them the primary tenets of the group: i.e., that women “lack discipline,”  were “entitled,” and were “misusing their sexuality to gain an advantage in the world,” Vicente testified. The goal of the curriculum, which was authored by Raniere, was to give women “the experience of being a little boy in a man’s world,” or to essentially tease and bully them until they were forced to grow up and assume responsibility for their actions. “‘We’re gonna help them find themselves and push them the same way you were pushed,'” Vicente recalled Raniere saying.

SOP Complete, Vicente testified, was “run more like a boot camp” than an academic curriculum. In addition to using hazing and other military-inspired tactics, such as forcing group members to do “penance” for misdeeds in the form of planks or wall-sits, SOP Complete instructors also used props, such as fairy wings, to humiliate female members into submission.

At one point, Clare Bronfman, the billionaire Seagram’s heiress who had at this point assumed a central role in NXIVM, was given a “jock strap” for being “too bossy,” according to Vicente. Raniere also suggested that male group members take photographs of the women if they were dressing provocatively and then make a video slideshow to humiliate them.

Although Vicente said that he had reservations about SOP Complete, testifying that even his wife had approached him with her concerns about the group, he nevertheless kept participating in the group. “I believed with some reservation that the women wanted to feel stronger and this would help in some ways,” he said, before eventually coming to the realization that the aim of the group was to “make women submit to men and be obedient, no matter what.”

With the appointment of the U.S. attorney for Connecticut to investigate the origins of the probe into specious allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, a troika is now in place to get to the bottom of the biggest political scandal in American history: the weaponization of the federal government's law enforcement and Intelligence Community to sabotage a rival presidential campaign.  It is already public knowledge that the U.S. attorney for Utah, John Huber, was appointed by former A.G. Sessions to investigate the Clinton Foundation and surveillance abuses.  Inspector General Michael Horowitz is said to be investigating how the FBI handled the Steele dossier and Steele himself, as well as Stefan Halper, a CIA and FBI asset who attempted to lure George Papadopoulos into incriminating the Trump campaign by planting intelligence with him.

The appointment of Durham was not publicly announced, but reporters from outlets such as Fox News, USA Today, and the New York Times were quietly informed of the move.

So who is John Dunham, and why was he appointed?

Fox News says, "Durham is known as a 'hard-charging, bulldog' prosecutor, Fox News is told."

In addition, Fox tells us:

    In January, House Republican Reps. Jim Jordan and Mark Meadows wrote to Durham seeking a briefing, saying they had "discovered" that Durham's office was "investigating [former FBI general counsel James Baker] for unauthorized disclosures to the media."

Durham does have a history of going after official corruption in federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies.  The New York Times:

    John H. Durham, the United States attorney in Connecticut, has a history of serving as a special prosecutor investigating potential wrongdoing among national security officials, including the F.B.I.'s ties to a crime boss in Boston and accusations of C.I.A. abuses of detainees.

Durham was appointed to lead that investigation by Janet Reno, Bill Clinton's attorney general.

It is a fascinating thing to behold how Attorney General William Barr has been so expertly navigating the dark and troubled waters of the D.C. Spygate scandal.

This week he publicly discloses having assigned a bulldog of a federal prosecutor with a storied career in bringing down big-name criminals. The real purpose of that disclosure, though, appears to actually have been to deliver a significant rattle to the cages of various Obama-era Deep State operatives because, in fact, this investigation has already been ongoing FOR MONTHS, leading some to believe the attorney general has been slowly letting out more and more rope to those who predictably wrapped it around their own collective necks.

Check out the below a copy of a congressional document from January which outlines what was (and is) an ongoing investigation being headed by John Durham—the very prosecutor Attorney General Barr announced this week was looking into the Spygate scandal. Yes, if you want a vision of the future YouTube is midwifing, imagine a cherubic white girl mocking Islamic dress while lecturing her hundreds of thousands of followers about Muslim “rape gangs,” social justice “homos,” and the evils wrought by George Soros — under the thin guise of edgy internet comedy, forever.

The video is called “Be Not Afraid,” and it may be the clearest manifestation yet of the culture the executives of Alphabet’s video monster are delivering to millions of kids around the world, now via children incubated in that selfsame culture. To understand just how bad things have gotten on the platform, you need to see it for yourself.

Users — and more importantly to YouTube, advertisers — have over the past year started to hold the platform accountable for enabling the exploitation of children and exposing them to disturbing content. But this video reveals an entirely different way the platform is harming kids: by letting them express extreme views in front of the entire world. This is what indoctrination looks like when it’s reflected back by the indoctrinated.

A 20-minute, unbroken, and hyper-articulate tirade ostensibly about ignoring criticism online, “Be Not Afraid” stars a high school freshman from the Bay Area who goes by the name Soph on YouTube. (She edits as well as scores the videos, which she says are comedic.) Through videos like these, she’s become a rising star — with more than 800,000 followers — in the universe of conspiracy theorists, racists, and demagogues that owes its big bang to YouTube.

The video platform for years has incentivized such content through algorithms favoring sensational videos, and, as recent reporting has revealed, has deliberately ignored toxic content as a growth strategy.

Soph’s scripts, which she says she writes with a collaborator, are familiar: a mix of hatred toward Muslims, anti-black racism, Byzantine fearmongering about pedophilia, tissue-thin incel evolutionary psychology, and reflexive misanthropy that could have been copied and pasted from a thousand different 4chan posts. Of course, it’s all presented in the terminally ironic style popularized by boundary-pushing comedy groups like the influential Million Dollar Extreme and adopted of late by white supremacist mass shooters in Christchurch and San Diego.

(Soph is even more explicitly hateful on Discord, the gaming chat app, where she recently admitted to writing under the username “lutenant faggot” that she hoped for “A Hitler for Muslims” to “gas them all.”)

By now, we’re used to this stuff coming from grown men — some of whom have even used the platform as a launching pad for political aspirations. But Soph is a child. Despite the vitriol of her words and her confidence in delivering them, she’s still just a 14-year-old kid. And hearing this language lisped through braces, with the odd word mispronounced as if read but never before said, is clarifying.

    The Revolutionary Communist Party, USA distributed manifestos and featured displays at the University of California, Los Angeles.

    The group called for the formation of “organized fighting forces," claiming the group must be ready to “continually train and deploy new forces and leaders."

Members of the Revolutionary Communist Party of America launched an advertising campaign at the University of California-Los Angeles in early May by chalking and distributing signage in an apparent effort to recruit college students to subscribe to their communist ideology.

"We are going for an actual overthrow of the system and a whole better way..."   

The group set up signs, handed out flyers, and wrote out chalk markings, as seen in photos obtained by Campus Reform, even after being asked by staff and housing officials to stop their activities. The group’s distributed manifesto condemned capitalism, as well as “jokes” based on race, gender, nationality, etc. Chalked markings on the ground and walls asked students to speak.

The Communists remained in the campus dorms, known as “The Hill”, for several hours before leaving.

Sections D3, D8, and D10 of UCLA’s On-Campus Housing Regulations forbid using housing spaces without permission, chalking and signing on The Hill without UCLA approval -- the failure of the group’s signage to be in Residential Life display cases indicates this was not obtained -- and advertising a non-university organization without approval, respectively. However, according to UCLA’s On Campus Conduct Policy, there exists no process for sanctioning non-resident violations.

A whiteboard displayed by the group bore the message "Revolution is the only solution."

BOOM: NXIVM Sex Cult Had Schumer’s Financial Records and Hillary’s Emails

With prosecutors in the trial of cult leader Keith Raniere planning to introduce evidence on the NXIVM sex cult’s deep oppposition research files on its political enemies including Roger Stone, documents from the archives are shedding light on how the sex cult stored data on top politicians including Chuck Schumer — whom the cult viewed as a “friendly” ally according to ex-employee Frank Parlato — and Hillary Clinton.

The Albany Times-Union noted in 2015: “A former close confidant of Keith Raniere, founder of the NXIVM corporation, claims top officials in the secretive organization used a Canadian investigative firm or other means to sift the financial records of six federal judges and U.S. Sen. Charles E. Schumer, D-N.Y., according to court records.

The former NXIVM insider, Kristin M. Keeffe, said that Seagrams heiress Clare W. Bronfman, who oversees NXIVM’s operations, ordered the financial probes at the direction of Raniere, 55. The six judges whose financial records Keeffe alleges were analyzed have all presided over cases involving NXIVM or its perceived adversaries and critics…

The allegations by Keeffe, 45, are outlined in emails attributed to her that were filed recently in Albany County Court…Keeffe broke away from NXIVM in February 2014 and is in hiding, according to correspondence and conversations attributed to her in court records filed in Albany County…”

So the NXIVM cult had information on Schumer.
