HUGER, S.C. (WCIV) — Several law enforcement and public safety agencies are responding to an active shooter situation Tuesday afternoon near the Berkeley County town of Huger.

The location of the shooting incident is on United Drive, Berkeley County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Carli Drayton confirmed.

Goose Creek Police confirm they have sent their SWAT unit to assist with the law enforcement response.

Swat, helicopter, 60 police cars said to be out there, this may be near Charleston, a lot of these stories don't pan out to be very serious, just posting.
