Michael Cohen is DISBARRED while he gives evidence on Trump to the Senate after New York State cancels his license to practice law following his felony convictions for lying under oath

Michael Cohen was disbarred as an attorney in New York on Tuesday
The judgement came as Cohen was behind closed doors in Washington D.C. testifying before the Senate Intelligence Committee
He will offer senators a document that he claims shows the president engaged in criminal conduct around the hush-money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels
He will also discuss BuzzFeed report that Trump ordered him to lie to Congress
His first appearance is behind closed doors with the Senate Intelligence panel
But Wednesday will be the real show when Cohen testifies in public before the House Oversight committee on Trump's business dealings
The investigation into Russia's role in the 2016 election will not be discussed in the public hearing but in closed doors sessions
Cohen has a second closed-door hearing on Thursday, this time with the House Intelligence Committee who he pleaded guilty to lying to
Lawmakers are eager to question President Trump's former personal attorney
'Step one is to re-ask him the questions that he felt he needed to lie to us about, when he testified in the last Congress,' said Rep. Jim Himes

I thought Cohen was already disbarred.  It was certainly expected after his conviction.

A criminal who is on his way to jail, who lied to Congress, is now going before congress to say that Donald Trump is a criminal. It’s not gonna work. Through it all Trump’s numbers have stayed relatively solid.

In the end, the Democrats are going to lose this gambit

Supposedly, Cohen has some documents to prove his allegations.  We shall see what happens.

By the way, what do Trump's poll numbers have to do with this?  They surely don't prove anything about Cohen's testimony today.

This is politics. Poll numbers have everything to do with it.  Once an official’s positives dip below a certain point or rise above a certain level, facts no longer matter.

And you believe that as long as Trump's poll numbers are high, Cohen's testimony is untrue?

No, of course not. I’m saying it won’t matter if what Cohen alleges is true or not. Trump’s supporters will nonetheless stand against any effort to impeach the president or to railroad him on the petty say so of a proven liar and turncoat sleaze ball like Cohen.

Trump’s got bigger, more important fish to fry: restoration of American greatnesses.

If Cohen has solid, believable evidence of major wrongdoing by Trump, then whatever happens won't be railrading.

Frankly, I would rather these hearings did not focus so much on the alleged payoffs of those two bimbos.  While there may have been a criminal act there, it won't be enough to remove Trump from his office.  This will be like Clinton lying about his extracurricular activities.  He was impeached, but in the end, the Senate didn't think it was enough to convict.  There are far more serious allegations of wrongdoing and these are what should be investigated.

I do find  it sad that Trump supporters would continue to defend him even if he is found to have committed a major crime.  These same supporters not long ago were eager for Hillary's head and rightly so.  But they would turn a blind eye to any wrongdoing of their hero.

@Applewood  What I find disturbing is the willingness of some posters here to get behind Hillary by comparing her corruption that supposedly included treason for cash, murders covered up,the outright sale of public office, stealing confidential FBI background files to use for blackmail, etc, etc, etc, and then in the same breath try to compare all that to Trump paying off a couple of whores,at least one of whom was a male lawyer,to shut them up.

Who has Trump ordered murdered,or was murdered because they had evidence against the him? Who subverted the power of their office at ever step in order to personally benefit them financially,Bubbette! or Trump?

How can ANY of you people possibly be so blind as to even consider there is a comparison to be made?

Well, I'm not going to make any comparisons between the crimes, real or alleged.   It is a shame that no one, including Trump, had the balls to investigate or order a thorough investigation of  Hillary's actions -- whatever they may have been.  Certainly, if she had resorted to murder, that would have been far more serious than paying off a couple of broads.   But it looks like we will never know for sure just what Hillary, Bill and those around them may have done.

But here's the thing:  Because Hillary's crimes may have been more serious than any Trump may have committed, it's no excuse to not conduct an inquiry into Trump's actions, nor should Trump escape whatever punishment might be in store for any of his allegedly illegal acts just because those actions aren't as heinous as any Hillary may have done.  I don't  profess to know the law in this regard, but if Trump is found to have committed acts that would be just cause for impeachment, or possibly imprisonment, then he should face the consequences.

From what I understand, today's inquiry is going to look into more than the payoffs to the boom-boom girls.  I'm going to wait to see just what Cohen says andn what evidence he has.   I've been watching the hearng sporadically and right now, all Cohen is doing is whining about his ruin.  Who knows?  This might turn out to be a bust.

Yeah, who can worry about simple stuff like that when you have whores being paid off for being whores to worry about?

Just can't get the weasel out of your mouth, can you?

Maybe you can smack his pee-pee? Would that make you feel better? We all know that preserving the nation pales in importance compared to having sex with a whore, right?

I watched about a hour of it,and it was all about Cohen playing cover his ass and trying to invent facts against Trump in order to get the reduced sentence the Dims promised  him . Even with the committee chairman holding water for him,he was in trouble a couple of times and it was obvious he was making stuff up/exaggerating in a desperate effort to keep his plea deal alive.
